The duality about oneself, embracing who you are and being aware of self-change are the main themes in my work. Using a variety of mix media mediums including acrylic paint, acrylic gel mediums, ink and ready made materials, I express emotion and views on various social issues. With my work, I want to empower African-American women, celebrate individuality, and also raise awareness to self-change.
